This Plimus service update due for release on September 7th, 2009, contains fixes and improvements to provide greater usability, security, and reliability for users of the Plimus control panel and online commerce system.

Buy Now Pages

Offline Order Templates:

Buy Now templates extend to the "offline" order pages that are used for PayPal, phone, fax, mail, wire transfer, and purchase orders.

With this revision, the Plimus platform offers much more appealing and user-friendly default layouts for these pages.

The text in these offline order pages has been streamlined to enhance the customer experience and improve conversion. Additionally, these templates are also automatically translated into 20 languages.

Redirecting Notification Page removed:

Customers are now automatically taken to the page at the end of a transaction without seeing a redirecting notification.

Optional Customer’s Order Confirmation Page for One Step Buy Now Pages:

Vendors who use a one-step Buy Now Page procedure (in which credit card details are shown on the same page as the transaction information) may elect to include an "Order Confirmation" Page. This enables customers to see the final total and confirm the order before the transaction is processed.

Buy Now Parameters

Override Price on Recurring Charges/Subscriptions Enabled:

Vendors may now override recurring charge price and currency by using Buy Now Parameters. The new parameter details are included in the Buy Now Parameters Table.

Improvements to the "Pending Invoices" process enables faster transaction process times.
