Matthew T. Vettel | Matthew is Plimus Board Chairman. As a Managing Partner at Great Hill Partners, Matthew leads transaction origination, investment policy and the general management of the firm. His vast investment experience covers software, transaction processing, education and business services. He serves as a director of SterilMed, Anthem Education Group, Accelerated Payment Technologies (formerly CAM Commerce), Freightquote.com, Passport Health Communications, PayChoice, Prommis Solutions, Inc., and Neumont University, LLC. Prior to Great Hill Partners, Matthew was an associate at GTCR Golder Rauner, a $6 billion private equity investment firm, and served on the boards of companies in the technology, healthcare and media sectors, and prior to GTCR Golder Rauner, Matthew was a Senior Associate at Accenture and a founding member of PureSpeech, Inc. He holds a BS in Industrial Engineering and Management from North Dakota State University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. Matthew also serves as Chairman of the MATCH School Foundation, a charter public high school that prepares inner-city students to succeed in college. |
Christopher M. Busby | Christopher is a Principal at Great Hill Partners and along with Plimus, serves on the Boards of Accelerated Payment Technologies (formerly CAM Commerce), Anthem Education Group, Neumont University and as an observer of Freightquote.com. At Great Hill, Christopher is responsible for originating and executing investment opportunities in the business and financial services sectors. He originally joined Great Hill Partners in 2000 and returned to Great Hill after graduating with an MBA from Harvard Business School. Prior to joining Great Hill Partners, he was an analyst in the Investment Banking Division of JP Morgan and an associate at GCC Investments. Christopher holds a BA in Political Science and History from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. |
Nicholas R. Cayer | Nicholas currently serves as Vice President at Great Hill Partners, responsible for originating and evaluating investment opportunities in the financial technology, business, consumer services, and software sectors. He also sits on the board of directors at Accelerated Payment Technologies (formerly CAM Commerce) and Paychoice. Nicholas has previously served as an Associate at CCP Equity Partners, a growth equity capital provider to financial services and healthcare services companies. Prior to CCP, he was an Associate at GE Commercial Finance’s National Restructuring and Retail Finance Group. Nicholas graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Bentley College. |

Prior to Plimus, Hagai guided dozens of internet start-ups to attain profitable growth and/or IPO. Hagai also drove the Jerusalem Post online business strategy, and built Spark Networks into one of the world's top online organizations. As is the focus for Plimus, Hagai always remains closely focused on designing profitable business strategies and creating added value for his companies, their partners and their customers. |
