Dormant Account Maintenance Fee
As from June 2011 Plimus is amending the charges for maintaining an inactive account on the Plimus system. The revised fees are not retroactive.
These charges only affect Seller’s accounts that have not seen any sales activity for a period of at least 3 calendar months. Active accounts will continue not to be charged any maintenance fees.
1. A dormant account is defined as any Vendor or Affiliate account that has not registered any sale, chargeback or refund activity for a period of at least 3 months.
2. The following maintenance fees will be charged on a sliding scale:
- First three months inactivity – no charge
- 4th to 6th month of inactivity - $ 5 per month
- 7th to 12th month of inactivity - $25 per month
- Thereafter until cessation of inactivity or account is dissolved - $ 50 per month.
3. Dormant account maintenance fees will be deducted from any balance standing in the relevant account and will be shown in the relevant Seller’s payment reports. Such fees may also be offset against sums standing in other accounts relating to the same Plimus Seller.
4. As always there will be no Dormant account maintenance fees charge for active accounts or accounts that have been suspended or hold sums agreed to be held in reserve.
5. Plimus reserves the right to amend these fees in the future.
6. Customers will normally be advised about any imminent risk of any maintenance fee being charged in their payment reports so that they can take corrective action. Normally this will involve simply making a self purchase or applying to release any funds held below the minimum sum. Funds held in the account below the minimum payout sum can be normally released by paying a withdrawal fee of $5.
