eCommerce Software Engineer (Back-End Systems)

About Plimus

Plimus is the leading provider of hosted e-business services (see our website at www.plimus.com for more information). Simply stated, businesses use the Plimus e-business platform to do the actual selling of their online goods and services. Our platform is designed to be extremely simple and intuitive, and our heritage has been based on helping hundreds of new clients each month to simply sign up and start selling in a pure self-service model. Similar companies include Digital River, Cleverbridge and Avangate.

Plimus is a tight-knit team of about 100, with offices in Fremont, CA and in Herzliya (Tel Aviv) Israel. In 2010 we sold some $200M of goods on behalf of our clients, and we continue to experience excellent profitability as we have every year since our inception in 2001: this is not a company with a burn rate and runway but is rather a profitable, growing, going concern.

Plimus is a dynamic, highly entrepreneurial environment. We serve over 5,000 merchants, and connect them with over 50,000 affiliates to increase their traffic. Our business model is simple: when we make a sale for one of our clients, we take a small percentage as a fee; at the end of the month, we remit revenues, less our fee, to our clients. Everything else we do is focused on helping our clients to drive as many sales as possible.
