Job Description:

Plimus Labs is a customer-facing team that helps prospects, customers and our own internal team to imagine, create and deploy innovative solutions based on Plimus platform technology.

Job Responsibilities:

Plimus, Inc. is seeking an inside sales representative to manage the day-to-day activities of our expanding sales business. This individual will support the sales team’s needs by prospecting and qualifying sales opportunities.

The position is in Fremont, CA and will be reporting to senior director of sales.

Responsibilities

The inside sales representative position is primarily responsible for prospecting cold calling. The individual will work as part of an integrated sales team with specific goals and responsibilities. Must work collaboratively with team members to advance sales and drive revenue growth.

The inside sales representative role will include:

  • Conducting cold calls and follow-up calls to prospects.
  • Be able to show a record of creating well-designed, effective web sites and applications.
  • Generating qualified sales opportunities.
  • Identifying key decision makers within target organizations.
  • Building and maintain a solid relationship with prospects.
  • Educating prospects on new releases, products and upcoming events

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (sales, marketing, advertising, business preferred but not required).
  • Interest in the e-commerce industry.
  • Hands on experience preferred in inside sales/demand generation role.

Required Experience

  • Must be a US citizen or be authorized to work in US.
  • Outbound business-to-business phone marketing or sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to navigate corporate structures to identify decision makers and determine buying process.
  • Ability to be assertive and persuasive without being aggressive.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple-tasks simultaneously.
  • Meet deadlines in fast paced environment.
  • Insatiable desire to learn and ability to adapt to changing routines and software.
  • Basic computer skills such as Microsoft Outlook and Window as well as typing skills.
  • Great verbal and written communication skills.
  • Active listening skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and think quickly
  • Self-reliant and reliable
