Setting up Plimus Reseller Notice on Custom BuyNow Pages

BuyNow pages must include the standard notification that the order is processed by Plimus as online reseller.
This information is required by Credit Card Association regulations and appears by default on Plimus' standard templates. Plimus Seller Support can help you ensure that this notice is properly set up on your custom BuyNow pages.

Plimus Reseller Notice

In accordance with Credit Card Association regulations, online order pages running through the Plimus e-Commerce platform have to include a notice declaring that Plimus is acting as online reseller. This information is required as customers are entitled to know which party is legally acting as merchant of record on such a transaction.

Here above is an example of the standard Plimus Reseller Notice included on Plimus BuyNow templates using the simple Plimus Reseller Tag.

We recommend that you check all your Plimus-powered BuyNow pages to check that this notification is included.

Restoring the Notice to your Custom BuyNow pages

If in the course of customizing your BuyNow pages the standard notification no longer appears, you will need to restore the notice to all such BuyNow pages as soon as possible.
This is a simple process. Just go to your relevant BuyNow Template set up page. Select, cut and paste over the tag as shown and named <#PLIMUS_RESELLER#> to the html area in the box on the left of the page as shown and insert it into an appropriate position in your html code, such as under the div id="footer text" element.
Click the Save button to save your work.
