As of Monday 5th July 2009, the Plimus platform incorporates the following additional capabilities as part of the latest product release:

• Improvements to Account Page Interface
• Order Page Redirects
• IPN Retries Mechanism
• Affiliate Commissions and Royalty Payments

Improvements to Account Page Interface

The dashboard feature on the Account Page now shows earnings since the start of the current payment cycle, and indicates the last date of payment with the relevant amount. The earnings figure gives a clearer indication of the sum currently available in Sellers' accounts.

The 'Total' columns now show the total number of customers who have purchased a product during the current month, and the total sales income from each product.

Users can decide how many product transactions they wish to view on each page of the products list view.

A tooltip clarifies that the sales figures for each product are set to the time of the current session login and are not refreshed during the session.

Order Page Redirects 

Vendors can direct users to a specific page at the end of the purchase process to provide helpful information, download links, additional marketing offers, help information etc. This is a powerful marketing tool and can be combined with coupons, upgrade offers and incentives, as well as driving users to a post sales offer. The following interface appears on the Contract level Order Page setup, and allows the redirect to occur either after the customer selects a 'continue' link or automatically once payment is processed.

For extra security vendors may protect the URL parameters passed to the custom Thank You page (such as product download URL or serial number) from unauthorized changes: simply add a password-protected hashed key parameter. This will be relevant where vendors need to avoid abuse of a product access URL which could give access to other product downloads.

IPN Retries Mechanism

When Instant Notification (IPN) communications are sent the system will retry the transmission 4 times over a 24 hour period in the event that an IPN communication fails.

Affiliate Commissions and Royalty Payment

A maximum aggregate total of 75% is now allowed for Affiliate commissions and Royalty payments.
