With Plimus, you are in complete control of your subscription offerings. You establish/sell the subscription, and we’ll manage the recurring payments. With our solution, your shoppers can upgrade, change plans, buy more licenses, see past payments, provide multiple credit cards, or cancel their subscriptions - all online and in real-time.

• We can authorize a shopper’s credit card to validate new subscribers, even just to start a trial period (optional).
• Receive an HTTP notification when a new subscriber signs up, on each recurring payment, upon plan switch/upgrade, or when a payment attempt has failed.
• Create a "Lease to Buy" option by charging up to a specific amount (optional).

Multiple Credit Card Option

Shoppers are now able to manage their Subscription purchases through Plimus using multiple credit cards and benefit from an improved Shoppers’ Control Panel giving better access to account functions.

Upgraded Subscription Process Now Includes Coupons

A new interface makes it easier than ever to upgrade a Subscription or recurring charge contract. Coupons can now be offered to help drive better conversion on upgrades and premium service plans.

PayPal Option for Subscription Switch/Upgrades

As requested by a large number of Sellers, when switching or upgrading subscription plans, Shoppers now have the option of changing their payment method to PayPal, or from PayPal to credit card.

Balance Carryover on Subscription Switch/Upgrades

When a subscription or recurring charge plan is switched or upgraded by a Shopper, any remaining balance standing to the Shopper’s benefit from the previous plan will automatically be carried over to the new plan.

Additional Subscription Payments Attempts (for Insufficient Funds)

When a subscription payment process fails due to insufficient funds in the Shoppers credit card account, the Plimus system will automatically make 3 more attempts at 5-day intervals to re-process the transaction before the subscription is canceled. (By default, this occurs after 15 days unless set to a different period by the Seller). This should afford Sellers sufficient time to resolve the matter directly with shoppers, and to ensure that the subscription continues.

New IPN to Advise on Switch/Upgrade Subscription Failures

An additional Instant Payment Notification is now available to alert Sellers of payment failures on subscription switches/upgrades. The Instant Notification is termed ‘Switch Failure’ and now appears in the IPN list.
