Plimloc is accessed through your standard Plimus Vendor account. Simply sign up on our website, and you're ready to go.
Within the Plimus Control Panel, you select 'Plimloc' as your license management option. We will then give you access to the Uniloc softANCHOR SDK, which you use to implement the softANCHOR system within your software.
With softANCHOR embedded in your software, you're now ready to sell. Upload your product to Plimus, create an appropriate BuyNow page, and link to that page from your selling site.
When customers want to buy your product, they buy it through Plimus. We then provide them with a serial number, which will be used to activate their software. The first time the software is started, the customer will activate, using their serial number, with approval being drawn automatically from the softANCHOR validation server hosted by Plimus.
If a user tries to use the serial number again, the Plimus softANCHOR validation server will check the settings you defined for how often a serial number may be activated. If the customer still has some left, the product will activate; but if the number has been used the maximum amount of times, activation will be denied.
If your customer cannot activate across the Internet, we provide you with all the tools you need to activate them by phone; for a small fee, we'll even take care of this for you.
If a customer upgrades their computer and needs to reinstall, Uniloc Device Fingerprinting will ensure that the returning computer is recognized, and activation will be approved, even if the serial number has reached its maximum number of uses.
Once the software is installed and activated, the user may use it for as long as they are licensed - no additional activation calls are required. However, the code is soundly protected by Uniloc copy protection, ensuring the user cannot access or reverse-engineer your code.
